BRIEF HISTORY ON THE KAPUNDA LIONS CLUB
The Lions Club of Kapunda Districts Inc. was formed by the Barossa Valley Lions Club in 1993. On the occasion of the Club's Charter 12 people from Kapunda & Districts were selected to be the Charter Members of the Club. The Club has retained some of the Charter Members being: Charles & Blat Goulder, Dave & Ros Lomman, Michael Hampel, Ray Reichelt and Mark Ruciack. Other Members include Maureen Altus, Andy & Zachary Carter, Janet & Maurice Cock, Des Ellis, Brian Greig, Rae Reichelt, Wendy Ruciack and Barrie Searles.
On the 6 November 1993, The Lions Club of Kapunda Districts was officially presented with their Charter.
During the years, the Kapunda Lions Club has entered into many projects, some large, some small but all very important to Kapunda and the surrounding district.
Awards have been received from KESAB for the local playground, and in addition it received an Australia Day Award.
The Club has also been recognized by the District by winning the District Trophy three times.

The Kapunda Lions Club had an invitation to twin with the Lions Club of Ennis, in Ireland. This has taken place which the Club is very proud.
Current and Past Club Members are very proud of their Lions Club and hopefully we will continue to serve our Community with the dedication that it deserves.
